Fit have released this video to promote their new Key Guard Sprocket. It’s a one piece guard version of their existing Key Sprocket with a low tooth profile, resulting in better chain engagement and longer tooth life. The Key Guard Sprocket will also protect your chain on crooks, or any other situations where you might be smashing your sprocket into things. It’s available in Bright Sliver or Matte Black, in 25 or 28 tooth sizes.
Check out some specs and detail shots over on our B2B product area.

3Jake Rawnsley, who’s on our shop-team sponsor program through BMX Plus in Bournemouth copped a sweet little interview & bike check over on Streetphire. Click the image above to go check that out. Jake’s been recovering from a torn ACL since last year, but he’s back on his bike now and apparently working on a comeback edit, so keep ‘em peeled.

tommy_c_over_pegsSkavenger’s UK rail bomber Tommy C takes care of this week’s last orders.

1. What’s the last thing you did on your bike that you were psyched on?
This over pegs.

2. What’s the last thing you tried on your bike that didn’t work out?
This over pegs.

3. What’s the last thing that made you proud to ride BMX?
Probably the last time a went out with me mates and had a good time.

4. What’s the last thing that made you ashamed to ride a BMX?
I wouldn’t say I’ve ever been ashamed to ride, but there are obviously things in BMX that sometimes make you think it’s taken a slight turn for the worse. If it be bikes that now look like scooters cladded in rasta coloured parts, people dressed up like Catfish in M*nster Energy tracksuits, or even just the people out there riding for the wrong reasons. I like to think that the good in BMX out weighs the bad though.

5. What’s the last BMX video you watched?
AM:PM check please

6. What’s the last song you listened to?
Dream On by Aerosmith on planet rock radio.

7. What’s the last website you visited?

8. What’s the last thing that made you laugh?
When Josh’s iPhone fell out of his jumper pocket and smashed when we were out riding yesterday. Then 10 minutes later his weed fell out of his jumper pocket when we were riding to the shop. Then about 10 minutes after that his fags fell out of his jumper pocket when we were riding down a hill to a spot. You’d think he’d learn and start using his jeans pockets after smashing the phone to bits.

9. What’s the last thing that annoyed you?
Getting up at 5.30am to go to work.

10.What’s the last thing you did before filling this out?
Had me breakfast at work.

This Mike Hoder compilation video showed up online recently containing footage of a whole load of hammers he’s filmed over the last few years. As you can imagine, it’s complete madness…

jordanfreakyfridayT1 caught up with Jordan OKane and fired a few questions at him for one of their Freaky Friday features. Click the through to have a read.

Start off your week right by taking a look at Lino’s section from ANML’s QSS4. This part’s certainly one of our favourites.

We spotted our United x Foundation BMX shop team rider Louis Robinson in this cool little promo from Alibico, undertaking what can only be described as a frenzy of barspins. Take a look…

Song: Love On A Real Train: Tangerine Dream

“Tangerine Dream are a German electronic group that started up in the late 60′s. They played a important role in the whole krautrock movement. At that time they were very experimental in their approach, making their own custom electronic sound equipment and working with sound samples collected on tape recorders. They later got into using synthesizers and started to produce music for film soundtracks.
A track I listen to a lot,’Love On A Real Train’ was a track used for the classic 1983 film Risky Business. Although it is one of their more accessible/ well known tracks, which I listen to quite often, I don’t think it will ever lose it’s unearthly mesmerizing beauty.
Tangerine Dream and especially this track have been highly influential in just about every creative idea I have within video work, bike riding and photography. The track really comes into it’s own on a metro commute home from work on a miserable winters evening. Turn it up loud and let its transcendental positive tones transport you away from the brutal misery to a distant 1980′s future world in the cockpit of an imaginary 5 litre v12 black Lambourghini Countach. I’ll die a happy man if I get to see them perform live. So many people try to replicate that style of music these days and rarely succeed. It was so of that time and created in the enviroment of that time, it can never really be replicated with any true substance.”
